Situation before the contract & client requirement
After EOL1 and EOL2 Municipaliy of Ljubljana decided to continue with another lot of buildings to be totally retrofited. Consortium of PETROL and RESALTA signed a conctrat with Municipality for another 27 buildings. 17 of them will be totally retrofited and another 10 will get only new lighting, heating sources and energy management system. As in previous projects, primary schools, kindergartens and sports halls were included.
Resalta solution
The measures implemented are similar to the first two projects, and include thermal envelope, HVAC systems and lighting renovations. Energy systems will be where possible replaced with renewable energy systems, and the project will also replace windows, doors and improve insulation, while also installing energy management systems.
The total investment is EUR 16.8 million, with contract duration set at 15 years.
